So it’s the end of another year, and when everyone starts re-evaluating their life, and I’m one of those people. I’m going to try and not make this cringy but I’m feeling quite motivated for life so it probably will. Sorry. I promise the next post will be better/more interesting/fun.
Firstly I need to apologise for the lack of posts the past couple of weeks, with sooooo much uni work to do at the end of term and working two jobs and having a load of other stuff going on, it’s been a manic few weeks (for anyone who finds themselves approaching a deadline, please do the work and don’t leave it to the extremes that I did, it momentarily destroys your life and I’ve never known stress like it). Coming home for Christmas has done me SO much good though, and having friends and family around is the best ever, I never want to leave again.
ANYWAY
When Kylie Jenner predicted 2016 to be a year of realising things, turned out she was right (video still kills me). A lot has happened, a lot has changed, I have indeed realised A LOT, but the lessons you learn from all the shit times you go through in life are invaluable, and I wouldn’t change things now if I could.

There has been some really great things about this year, and some really not so great things, but I feel like I am finally finding my happy place again!
Everything happens for a reason babies!
DRAWING A LINE UNDER 2016 . . .
I have never felt more positive about entering into a new year, that will be full of new experiences and new opportunities and new people, okay so I should maybe avoid maxing out my overdraft again to actually allow me to DO all of the things I want to, but I’m still optimistic for now (may not work out so well come Easter time).
You define yourself. If you’re not happy with a part of your life, change it, if you want to achieve something, do it, if there’s parts of yourself that you wish you hadn’t lost, find them again.
It’s so easy to say you’re going to do things but then never bother, which I have always always done with so many things. Travel more, learn to do new things, make new friends, start a blog (finally managed to do that one), pretty much every aspect of my fitness/diet regime, but I am SO determined to look back at 2017, and be proud of what I’ve made of it.
This is however, the first time I am finishing the year at the weight goal I set at the beginning, and my physique is so much closer to what I aspire to, so at least something’s going right! It isn’t easy, it’s really really hard, but please believe me when I say anyone can make progress if you want it enough! I already can’t wait to get back into routine properly after christmas, it’s just impossible to stay on track this time of year, but I am so SO excited to see the progress I can make in 2017, and the plan is to keep everything updated so if you’re interested/want any tips/advice, it will all be on here 🙂
I promise there will be lots of posts on lots of different things soon and they won’t be as boring as this one, this is my main focus for the next couple of months!
2017, I’m ready for you.
Have a FAB Christmas!
