Charles Worthington Ultra Violet Shampoo & Conditioner

I’ll admit I am a little obsessed with purple toning shampoos, but I can hands down say this is the best one I’ve used so far. The difference it’s made is huge, I am still looking to get the balayage re-done with a grey tone on the ends, but this has got me halfway there just by using shampoo! I tend to leave it on for about 10 minutes and the results are an instantly silvery look, see the first comparison photo, and if you leave it on for around 20 (I wouldn’t advise doing this all the time as it probably isn’t good for your hair, I lost track of time) it will literally turn your hair pastel grey, and even give it a purple tint – see comparison photo 2! It can be a little hard to get hold of whilst its on offer, it sells quickly, but it is amazing and completely worth the wait AND the money, at only £6.99 for the Ultra Violet shampoo and £5.99 for the conditioner it’s very reasonably priced for the results, and it’s also on 2 for £10 currently in boots!

Popchips

I used to hate these things, I just thought they had a weird aftertaste, but recently I’ve been addicted! They’ve rebranded the packaging which is an improvement, and I’m wondering if they have possibly changed the recipe too, I don’t know, but they’re just hitting the spot right now. BBQ is the best, but the Salt & Vinegar is pretty good too, and as they’re lower in fat than normal crisps they’re a great healthy snack to have in your meal deal.

Coloured Sunglasses

I’m not very adventurous when it comes to sunglasses, oversized aviators are pretty much the only style that are big enough for my head (I have a very round face okay) and I generally only own rose gold lenses, or a classic brown/tan lense. Now although I can’t stray very far with the shape, I have been loving coloured lenses!! Here’s a few of my favourites that are on offer, yes there is an emphasis on Sarah Ashcroft because I just love her and want to be her, and the orange hexagon ones in the cover photo that are my go to at the moment were just £12 from ASOS!

L’Oreal Paris Feline Volume Million Lashes

I have really rubbish eyelashes, they’re short and straight, and so finding a good mascara isn’t usually very easy. I end up buying so many and then realise I’m not going to be able to make it work for me on the first use, but this one is actually pretty good! It’s £10.99, and I’m not sure about the ‘volume million’ bit, for me it seems to work more of a lengthening mascara and doesn’t particularly multiply them, but I am impressed with the length, so I can’t complain.

Firefly Peach & Green Tea Drink

This is just the nicest drink ever, but it’s also pretty high in sugar. So maybe not one to be drinking daily, and not that diet friendly, but still just really really good, refreshing.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

So I have been using this for nearly 3 weeks now, and I’m actually quite impressed, especially as it only cost £5! Again it has not cured me from ever getting a spot, but I do feel like it helps even your skin tone and helps any scarring and blemishes recover more quickly! There will be a full review of this up with another ‘The Ordinary’ product later this month!
