L’Oreal True Match Foundation

I have been trialling a few different foundations recently, and this is another one which I am pretty impressed with! Again, I would not put it above my everyday MAC Studio Sculpt, but I have been using this when I’ve done my fake tan, I have a few foundations in a few different shades now, I can’t always avoid it, but I try to make my face match my body the best I can! I’d say this one is fairly similar to Bourjois Healthy Balance, but with maybe better coverage, which I prefer! It is still lightweight and it goes quite a long way, it will last you a while, and it also comes in a lot of different shades!! I’m using 1.5N Linen, but again this would be too dark for my NC15 natural skin tone, so I’d definitely recommend going to try out the testers before you make a purchase!

Pink

I am love love loving pink at the moment, especially pale, dusty shades. The colour has been popular for the past couple of seasons, but S/S 17 is where it’s taking off, everywhere has pink in, and you can pretty much buy anything in the colour at the moment. I love to pair pink clothing with MAC Blankety or Politely Pink lipsticks, and both colours are so easy to wear. This shirt is my go to for any occasion right now, and I have a bomber jacket bought last summer in the same material!

OGX Renewing Argan Oil

I have very dry hair and so I cannot live without hair oil. I bought this one after using the OXG Keratin Spray, which I loved, and so I thought I’d give the bottled Argan Oil a go for a change.
I use this after every wash, and even though it is a thick substance, it’s so lightweight!! You hardly need any, and it could really be applied to wet or dry hair, but I tend to just use it in towel dried hair, and then if one day my ends feel particularly dry, I might rub a little in whilst it’s dry! It stops it from being so frizzy, and adds moisture!

Stormzy – Gang Signs & Prayer

What an album, and who knew Stormzy could sing?! You might not think you’re a fan of grime, but this album is worth a listen.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo +

I actually bought the La Roche Posay 3-Step Anti-Blemish System, and although I personally didn’t find the soap and toner to be particularly beneficial, I do really like the Duo + cream, which acts as both a moisturiser, and it also smoothes your skin’s complexion, which for me is exactly what I need. I don’t have the best skin and I get spots pretty frequently, but being so pale means that my skin then scars and goes red and patchy very noticeably, and I have found that the cream does actually help to give a more even skintone, and help the scars recover a little bit more quickly. It is not a miracle cure, and your spots/scars won’t disappear overnight, but it’s worth a try!

NYX Precision Brow Pencil

I bought this as I was looking for something that I could use to fill in and shape my eyebrows on days when I’m not doing my full makeup. It has a very fine tip, so has very good precision, as the name suggests, and it is also very buildable, so you can create a very light and natural, or heavier look. I use the colour 05 Ash Brown!
