LK Bennett Kaelynn Boots – Was £425 now £210
I fell in love with these boots the very first time I saw them on my first shift as a sales advisor at LK Bennett, I am a big fan of over the knee, and a big fan of suede, nearly every pair of shoes I own are suede (maybe not ideal when living in the rainiest place in the country – Manchester). They were £425 however, which you is way way way out of any students budget 😦 BUT they then went into the sale at christmas, currently £210, and I got them for a lot cheaper than that, perks of the job! They still cost me a lot more than I should have spent on a pair of boots, but I know I will live in them, and they should last a good few years (desperately trying to justify the money).
Maybelline Master Strobe Cream – £6.99
I bought this on a bit of a whim really when Maybelline had a buy one get one half price offer on in Boots, but it is so good! I bought it in ‘Light/Iridescent’ but it does also come in two other shades, and is the perfect base for your highlight; a powder highlight on top really makes it pop. Make sure you apply the strobe cream BEFORE any powders at all have been used, when your makeup is still wet, it will blend really well, but is very very difficult to apply after any setting/bronzing powders!

Barry M ‘Winning Streak’ Nail Paint – £3.99
Nearly all my nail varnish is Barry M, there’s loads of colours to choose from, it lasts longer than a lot of other drugstore alternatives, and it’s not too expensive, what’s not to love. I have been searching for the perfect nude for AGES, I find so many are too peachy or too grey for what I am looking for, but this one is perfect! This shade is ‘Winning Streak’ in the quick dry range, and it is a bright nude with a baby pink hue when it’s on (on me anyway) and I haven’t worn anything else since buying it!

Primark Bedding
Not all Primark branches carry a very wide range of their home collection, but luckily for me, Manchester does. They always have a huge range of bedding which is affordable even on a student budget, which is great if you’re anything like me and get bored of your room after a few months and fancy a change. They have a new ‘Tropical’ range in, and I’m loving it, it’s something a bit more colourful to brighten up a dull January.
Sainsbury’s Reed Diffuser
I became obsessed with reed diffusers when I first started uni and was living in halls – halls have a strange smell, and I wanted to get rid of it. I used this one for a lot of last year and loved it, and after going through 4 different ones so far this year and not loving any of them, I have reverted back to my original, long live Sainsbury’s Passion Flower and Mango 🙂
Valentino Shoe Dupes
I have been in love with the Valentino Rockstud collection for so long, but at £650 a pair, it wasn’t going to happen anytime soon. There have been dupes flying around everywhere but they just weren’t what I was looking for, then of all places, I found these in PRIMARK, yes primark! At just £14 I couldn’t resist, they literally go with everything, I have worn them so many times already, and they 100% don’t look like they’re primark, they also come in a patent pink, and patent nude!
Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Conditioning Spray – £5.99
I have been using the Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes shampoo and conditioner every third wash for about 6 months now and it really helps to eliminate any brassy tones and keeps my balayage looking fresh, but after it now being a year since I had it done, I really needed to step up my haircare routine to stop the dreaded yellow tones making an appearance before I had it redone (28th Feb I’m coming for you). This leave in spray actually really helps though and can be used every other wash, so even when I haven’t used the shampoo and conditioner, it still keeps my hair looking ashy, it is literally as simple and spraying it in and leaving it, so I’d definitely recommend it!
