Hello!

This is a little late going up as it’s already November (where has the year gone?!) but here are some of the things I haven’t been able to get enough of this month!

NARS Radient Creamy Concealer £22.50

I have used MAC Pro Longwear Concealer for just over a year now, and have loved it, but felt like I needed a change, so after hearing soon many great reviews I decided to buy the NARS creamy concealer. I’m really pale (NC15 for MAC lovers) and so I bought the concealer in the palest colour they do called ‘Chantilly’ and I absolutely love it. I would actually say it has the best coverage from a concealer that I’ve found, and the creamy formula means it blends really well and is also a great undereye-into-cheekbone highlighter! It is a little expensive as I don’t think it will last ages, I’m starting to run low already, but I would definitely recommend it!
A great drugstore dupe: Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer – £4.19

Chokers

I have been LOVING the choker trend, and I feel like they add so much to any outfit at the moment! They can easily be dressed up or down, and make me feel like I have been channelling my inner goth.
Here is a selection of my faves available from Missguided, ASOS and River Island:

Sudocrem £4.00

Best thing I’ve found to dry spots out over night and so cheap considering how much is in a tub – credit due to my sister for recommending it!!

MAC Diva £15.50

I bought MAC Diva just over a year ago, and after not wearing it very often last year, I had forgotten about it a little, however this year I am obsessed with it! Berry tones are back again with a vengeance, and being worn with pretty much anything, and Diva is the perfect lipstick for a grunge look too! Paired with Burgundy lip liner gives a slightly darker tone and gives a much neater edge, I definitely wouldn’t advise using any dark lipstick without a liner!

Leather

Leather has been everywhere recently, and although traditionally leather clothing has been seen as a little daring, it has well and truly established itself as a wardrobe staple in every form! Aside from my all time favourite Topshop jacket, my favourite pieces have to be my Topshop leggings which I pair with literally anything, and Primark pinafore dress, and both were actually really cheap!

Dream Big/I Am Very Busy Notebooks £2.00

I’m currently been applying for industrial placements, and I’ve been keeping the details of everything I’ve applied for/want to apply for in these, the colours and lettering are really cute, and at £2.00 from Sainsbury’s they were such a bargain! I’d also advise this system to anyone else applying for placements/jobs, it’s so much easier to keep on top of everything!

Urban Decay Naked Illuminated £22.50

After falling in love with this back at the beginning of September, I couldn’t find it in stock anywhere for so long, so when it finally appeared on the UD website I had to get it! I was set on the colour ‘Luminous’ and who it arrived it didn’t disappoint, it is the sparkliest highlighter I’ve ever had, and I love it, its very subtle in colour, but the glitter and shine is amazing, and its perfect for using on both your face and body! I also cannot wait to use it on holiday as well as over the christmas period!

Mermaid Blankets

Everyone should have one of these in their lives, they’re so fun and warm and they come in pretty colours and who doesn’t want to be a mermaid?! Mine was a present from my sister, but they’re available everywhere at the moment! Get one and you won’t regret it.
